This short paper describes an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease caused by a hot tub that was on display in a retail setting.  It will cover the circumstances surrounding the outbreak and the criminal prosecution that followed, referencing the sentencing guidelines that were applied and the fine imposed by the court.
