Robin has over 25 years’ experience within the industry including 6 years in swimming pool operational management, 2 years as a tutor in higher education, 7 years working as a technical advisor within the swimming pool chemical sector for Brenntag and 11 years running his own consultancy business Pioneering Pool Solutions and is now Director and co owner of Swimming Pool water Treatment Consultancy OLM Consulting Ltd. He holds a BA degree in Leisure Management from Abertay University. Robin is a Director of PWTAG and is also one of 3 consultants licensed to perform PWTAG “PoolMark” Audits the award used to assess if pools are complying with the industry Code Of Practice.  Along with delivering accredited and bespoke Pool Plant Operators Training, Robin has been involved in numerous swimming pool water treatment projects designed to help clients comply with industry best practice such as entrapment testing, dye testing, creating pool plant design specifications, developing technical procedures, and analysing bacteriological conditions.  In addition, Robin has acted as a consultant for swimming pool facilities who have suffered major incidents and has assisted and liaised with public health authorities during these incidents to ensure bather safety is adhered to and swimming pool water treatment is achieving best practice  rmitchel@olmconsulting.com
